The ZHAW offers a certificate course in the fields of Corporate Responsibility and Social Management.

Many companies take stakeholder expectations concerning social issues seriously, they are however unsure as to how to react.
- What exactly do stakeholders expect from us?
- Which social effects are we held responsible for, and for which can we, and are we really willing to assume responsibility for?
- In what way do social issues have an influence on the success of a company?
- How can we integrate relevant social issues in our management system?
The certificate course illustrates how your company can respond to these issues. Social Management is a cross functional task, therefore the course deals with economics, management, legal and socio-political issues alike. Emphasis is thus placed on practical experience, examples from companies and the active participation of students.
Part of the course will focus on the text book „Social Management in the Enterprise – Selected Tools for the Practitioner“ (in German). This text book was published October 2006 by the ZHAW. Information and orders here.
